IUS Partners with ProReha and Greens to Promote Labor Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship

On Wednesday, July 31, the International University of Sarajevo had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Vedad Vajzović, president of the ProReha Association and Founder and Director of the social enterprise Greens doo. ProReha is a non-governmental organization dedicated to professional training, work rehabilitation, education, and employment for people with disabilities and other hard-to-employ groups. ProReha also supported the establishment of Greens, an organic producer of micro-vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers, which also aims to promote labor integration and economic empowerment of people with disabilities.

During the visit, the university signed a Memorandum of Understanding with both organizations as part of the DeepGreenInno project, marking the beginning of a promising partnership. The signing was followed by a meeting with IUS representatives, including the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration, Assoc. Dr. Emil Knezović, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Šejma Aydin, exploring the opportunities for future collaboration. The discussions focused on ways to promote social entrepreneurship values among students and opportunities for future projects of labor integration. We hope that this partnership will contribute to creating a more welcoming and socially conscious community.
