FBA Students Gain U.S. Market Insights from Guest Lecturer Michael John Strand

On Monday, November 10, 2025, students of the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) had the opportunity to attend an inspiring guest lecture delivered by Mr. Michael John Strand, a U.S. business owner, consultant, and Fortune 100 student.

The lecture, hosted by Prof. Dr. Mehmed Ganić as part of his Financial Institutions and Markets course, focused on “Understanding the U.S. Insurance Industry: Introducing and Exploring Key Components.” Mr. Strand provided students with a clear and insightful overview of the structure, functions, and current trends shaping both the life and non-life insurance markets in the United States.

Students particularly enjoyed the interactive Q&A session that followed, actively engaging in discussions on emerging challenges, market dynamics, and global developments in the insurance sector.
