Celebrating Excellence: IUS Students Honored Among the Federation’s Best on International Students’ Day

On Monday, November 17, 2025, on the occasion of International Students' Day, the Federal Ministry of Education and Science held a formal award ceremony in Mostar to present the “Studiosus ingeniosus Universitatis / Studiosia ingeniosa Universitatis” recognitions to the best students in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nominated by their respective higher education institutions.

Among the 94 selected students, the International University of Sarajevo proudly had five award recipients, each representing their faculty: Amila Bašić (PSIR/FBA), Ehlimana Alihodžić (TLT/FEDU), Hadil Abou El-Ardat (ELIT/FASS), Selma Ferati (FLW), and Hana Krnjić (GBE/FENS).

The awards were presented by the Federal Minister of Education and Science, Jasna Duraković, who highlighted the vital role of the academic community in shaping society and the importance of young people as its most valuable resource.

The success of our students reflects the continuous support, high academic standards, and dedicated work fostered at the International University of Sarajevo.
