From Internships to Entrepreneurship: IUS Students Share Their Journeys at NextGen Event

On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the NextGen IUS Business Club hosted an inspiring event titled “Career Stories: Student Internships”, where six Bachelor students and one Master student shared their internship experiences with younger colleagues eager to explore their own career paths.

The program featured two dynamic panel discussions:

Panel 1: “Student Internship”

Five students reflected on their internship journeys, speaking candidly about the challenges they encountered and the lessons that shaped their professional growth. They offered practical advice on preparing for a first internship, choosing the right placement, and navigating expectations in a real-world work environment.

Panel 2: “From Internship to Entrepreneurship”

The second session showcased how internships can spark entrepreneurial ambition. Two students demonstrated how the skills, confidence, and industry insights gained during their internships empowered them to develop business ideas and take their first steps toward launching their own ventures.

Following the panel discussions, attendees had the opportunity to engage in a relaxed networking session - asking questions, exchanging perspectives, and connecting with both speakers and fellow students.
