Course Objectives The course aims are to introduce students to fundamentals of hotel design.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Demonstrate knowledge of architecture of tourist facilities.
  2. Demonstrate understanding of architectural and urban context.
  3. Perform knowledge about appropriate approaches and methods of design.
  4. Demonstrate an ability to orginize the functional units inside of touristic facilities.
  5. Demonstrate an ability to recognize the main human needs.
Teaching Methods Class discussions with examples. Active tutorial sessions for engaged learning and continuous feedback on progress. Class debates on relevant case studies.
